Do I need coffee? No, I absolutely do not. Do I want coffee? Yes I do.

I don't know if I'll get anything coherent written tonight (other than the

fandomweekly new challenge), but I have a couple kink meme fills in progress that I'd like to tackle and maybe get posted. I should also really swing by the grocery store; I'm out of potatoes, and I have a recipe I really want to try that includes potatoes.

(It also involves a LOT of very thin potato slices, so...it may or may not get made tonight unless I get that coffee. But I need leftovers to bring to work tomorrow and Friday, so I'll have to cook something.)

It's very cold out and I have a bad habit of sitting like a shrimp at work, and between those two things my shoulder is on fire. I need to start doing my PT stretches again, I think.

But hey, my first day back at work after a week of vacation was actually pretty tolerable. Got everything I wanted to done, didn't freeze to death or fall in the poorly-cleared parking lot, and made my tea last until after 4 PM.

Tonight, a quick round of laundry and then video games and bed, I think. I should have enough eggs left for some quick egg noodles, and then I can bring the leftovers tomorrow for lunch.

Hello, friends! It's about to be December again, and you know what that means: the fact I am posting this actually before December 1 means

karzilla reminded me about the existence of linear time again. Wait, no -- well, yes, but also -- okay, look, let me back up and start again: it's almost December, and that means it's time for our annual December holiday points bonus.

The standard explanation: For the entire month of December, all orders made in the Shop of points and paid time, either for you or as a gift for a friend, will have 10% of your completed cart total sent to you in points when you finish the transaction. For instance, if you buy an order of 12 months of paid time for $35 (350 points), you'll get 35 points when the order is complete, to use on a future purchase.

I had better not be getting sick ;_; I laid down for two minutes and every single part of my body went we're just staying down now, and I still haven't managed to get up even though I really want a shower.

(It wouldn't surprise me if I'm sick. I know from experience that if I don't schedule myself some genuine downtime once in a while, eventually I'll just crash, and for one reason or another all of my attempts to schedule downtime for the past year have fallen through. But come on, body, we couldn't wait until Christmas break? I have plans this week.

Cleaning for visitors is kicking my butt :( I know it doesn't matter (my best friend is coming up for the holiday and she's not going to care whether or not I dusted the living room) but it's going to bug me if I don't get it done.
